Bisk Promotes Misty Brown to Chief People Officer

TAMPA, Fla., February 11, 2019 / — Bisk Education Inc., a global leader in digital learning, announced the promotion of Misty Brown from Vice President, Culture and Communications to Chief People Officer, reporting directly to Chief Executive Officer Mike Bisk.

In this role, Brown will focus on talent, culture, internal and external communications, corporate brand management and community involvement. She will oversee the company’s total human resources strategy including talent acquisition, talent development, change management, organizational design and employee engagement, with an aim toward positive transformation.

Prior to joining Bisk, Brown held global executive roles in the advertising space, partnering with multiple Fortune 500 companies, including Walmart, eBay, CVS, PepsiCo, Procter & Gamble and American Express. Her efforts in corporate leadership resulted in award-winning cultures, progressive workspaces, engaged communities and sound communication strategies that reinforced the company mission.
Brown is a Los Angeles native, building her career there with A-list clients like Disney, Infiniti, Mercedes-Benz and Honda. She holds a Master of Arts in Communication Management from University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from the University of Phoenix.
