TAMPA, Fla., March 4, 2020 — Bisk Education Inc. (Bisk), a global leader in digital learning, announced several changes to its senior leadership team. The changes reflect a thoughtful and strategic approach to near-term innovation and long-term growth.
“Elevating highly experienced internal talent and streamlining our leadership team ensures we function efficiently and with the speed our clients expect,” said Bisk Chief Executive Officer Mike Bisk. “We’ve been intentional about the timing of these transitions to ensure we are paced to deliver on commitments to our institutions, and their students, without interruption.”
Dr. Richard Sites has been promoted to Vice President, Marketing and Learning Design. In this expanded role, Sites oversees marketing operations and learning experience design. Colleague Dean Rustin in his role as Vice President of Student Success remains committed to the student experience, and Rebecca (Becky) Laman, Vice President Strategic Partnerships, continues to spearhead business development initiatives, apply marketing strategy and lead client services.
“Richard, Dean and Becky have made an incredible impact at Bisk,” said Chief People Officer Misty Brown Fischer. “What makes this management transition seamless is the continued presence of our other key senior leaders. Our teams benefit from these leadership elevations, and so will the institutions we serve.”
Chief Financial Officer Bill Geary has been with Bisk for 18 years in various finance leadership roles and will exit to pursue personal and professional interests. “Having served nearly two decades at Bisk, and the last 13 as CFO, I feel this is the right time for me to step down. It has been a privilege to serve this great company. I am proud of the people of Bisk and the business we have built over the years. I would like to thank Mike and the entire Bisk family for this experience and have pledged my support to ensure a seamless transition.”
Andy Titen, currently serving as Chief Corporate Advisor, will retire after 33 years with Bisk. Titen held multiple executive roles, including president and chief executive officer, in his three-decades-long tenure at the company. “It has been an honor to be a part of the Bisk team,” said Titen. “I have been humbled by the commitment and hard work of our people and inspired by Bisk’s mission to transform lives through online learning. I am grateful to the team, as I am to Bisk’s many stakeholders with whom I’ve worked with over the years to build our long-term client relationships.”
“Both Andy and Bill have been incredible assets to Bisk, and I want to personally thank them for their extensive contributions and partnership on a go-forward basis,” said Mike Bisk. “These relationships run deep and are full of tenure, and I’m grateful both will be just a phone call away. We are appreciative of their support in ensuring a fluid transition and wish them well in the next chapter of their life and career.”
The Company also announced that Todd Wegner has been appointed to serve as interim Chief Financial Officer for Bisk.
