Bisk Names Misty Brown as Vice President of Communications and Culture

TAMPA, Fla., January 29, 2018 – Bisk, a global leader in online education, has announced that Misty Brown has been named Bisk’s Vice President of Communications and Culture.

With a 20-year background spanning employee engagement, corporate communications, advertising, PR, digital marketing and content, Brown plays a pivotal role in the Bisk brand and talent experience.

As VP, Brown will help centralize, streamline and optimize communications under a unified communications strategy, enable a culture of performance through skillset development and an evolved onboarding program, and promote the Bisk brand through proper positioning while amplifying their website and philanthropy arm. She will also serve as communications counsel to the CEO and executive team, leading values-based strategies to promote increased employee engagement, cross-functional collaboration and community involvement.

Prior to joining Bisk, Brown held global executive roles in the advertising space, building a first-of-its-kind immersive content discipline that serviced multiple Fortune 500 companies, including Walmart, eBay, CVS, PepsiCo, Procter & Gamble and American Express. Her efforts in corporate leadership resulted in award-winning cultures, progressive workspaces, engaged communities and sound communication strategies that bolstered the companies’ mission.

Brown is a Los Angeles native, building her career there with A-list clients like Disney, Infiniti, Mercedes-Benz and Honda. She holds a Master of Arts in Communication Management from University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from the University of Phoenix.
